This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment is situated on the popular, family-friendly Marina Park resort in Lagos. The resort is within walking distance of Lagos town centre with its myriad of cafés, restaurants and shops and also the marina and Meia Praia beach. Having 91.90m², the apartment will sleep 4 adults and 2 children should the need arise by opening the sofa bed, which is located in the living room. It is professionally cleaned.
Air conditioning is available in the apartment which also provides heat during the winter.
The resort facilities include outdoor swimming pools for both adults and children, tennis courts, pool bar/restaurant, children's play area and extensive mature gardens. There is underground parking available in the same building.
This apartment is fully equipped for your stay including WiFi and UK television and has a spacious private terrace with outdoor dining facilities. Kitchen facilities, apart from the usual white goods, include a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine etc.
There are three water parks in the Algarve, all within a 40-minute drive of the apartment. Some may have a shuttle service offered so check with local ticket outlets.
If you are an animal lover, Lagos Zoo is also only a 10- to 15-minute drive away with the monkey islands being a great favourite with children.
For keen golfers, there are 40 golf courses in the Algarve, of which over 10 can be found within a 30-minute drive of the apartment. The nearest, Onyria Palmares golf course, has 18 holes and is only 2.5kms away.
Lagos marina is only a short drive away. From here you can take daily boat trips around the caves, go on dolphin watching trips, sea kayaking, paddle boarding, deep sea fishing and also take part in an array of other water-based activities.
If you are interested in history, Lagos is a city steeped in it with origins dating as far back as 2000 years BC.
We strongly advise you to take out comprehensive travel insurance including cancellation cover, personal belongings and public liability.
No stag/hen parties or similar groups are allowed.
No excessive noise between the hours of 11pm (23h00) and 7am (07h00).

Was worried at the start this place was a bit out of the way and in the middle of an urban jungle. The location and photos don't do it justice and the positives far outweigh the slightly awkward location. The location is actually very good and the whole development is a mixture of rental and homeowners. For entry you are sent the key safe number so no delay in getting inside and settled. The apartment is very secure with a really good front door and security shutters at the rear. Usually I worry about leaving valuable items in holiday let's but this place can be closed up like Fort Knox. As self catering goes it was good to have a big fridge, sufficient big pots and pans, gas range, electric oven, microwave, washing machine and plenty of tables and chairs. There are two big bedrooms, two showers and a settee which changes into a comfy bed. All more than adequate for group of 5. The balcony is very big and again well situated and kitted out. Not much of a view but it catches the evening sun so was nice to sit out in. The pool area is down a few flights of steps but only 2 minutes walk. You get access cards to get through a security gate so kept for residents only. The pool is a nice size and there was never any problem getting a lounger. If you didn't then the grass is nice to lie in anyway. The poolside bar is surprising good value for drinks and takes contactless payment which means no carrying cash around. A freezing cold pints was 3E so can't say better than that. The only drawback is that the development is at the top of a fairly steep hill and at least 20min walk from town. It really didn't bother us though as there is small shop just outside and a big supermarket close by as well. If you have a car both Aldis and Lidl a few minutes drive as well. The beach is about 20min walk away and better with a car as we did just to cut out The hill. In summary this is the perfect sized big family apartment set in clean and well maintained grounds.
